On the afternoon of July 28, Hue Department of Science and Technology held a conference to launch, introduce and provide guidance on the 2026 enterprise innovation survey. The event attracted nearly 100 businesses, along with representatives from relevant agencies and organizations.

On the afternoon of June 24, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan hosted a courtesy meeting with a delegation from Pacific Construction Group Co. Ltd., and Guotai Haitong Securities Co. Ltd., of China. The meeting was also attended by Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang, along with representatives of relevant departments, agencies, and units.

On the afternoon of June 11, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, along with representatives of local departments and agencies, had an official meeting with a delegation from Fundación Metrópoli of Spain, led by Dr. Alfonso Vegara Gomez, the organization’s Founder and President, to explore strategic orientations for urban planning and sustainable heritage urban development of Hue.

On June 4, a delegation from Hue City, led by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, had a conference to meet with Chinese tourism businesses and investors in Beijing, China. The delegation also had the participation of representatives from Hue City Department of Tourism and Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade, and Enterprise Support.

On the evening of May 30, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, held the final round of the 7th Science Innovation and Agricultural Startup Idea Competition 2026, drawing the participation of lecturers, students, scientists, and business representatives.

On the occasion of the Vesak celebration for Buddhist Era 2570 (2026 CE), on the morning of May 29th, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister, led a delegation representing the Government and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to visit and extend congratulations to the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City and Buddhist dignitaries in the locality.

On May 22, the City People’s Committee, in coordination with the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency (LuxDev) and WWF-Vietnam, organized the conference on “Unlocking Green Investment for Nature-based Development in Tam Giang - Cau Hai Lagoon”, with the participation of representatives from Central and local ministries and agencies, international organizations, investment funds, and development partners.

On the morning of May 23rd, the University of Law, Hue University, in coordination with Da Nang Representative Office of the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam and Tilleke & Gibbins, held the opening ceremony for the 6th “Student Innovation and Intellectual Property” Competition 2026 under the theme “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence”.

On the morning of April 28th, Hue Central Hospital held a ceremony to introduce the 3.0 Tesla MRI system - SIGNA Pioneer. Attendees included Mr. Pham Duc Tien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Council; Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the city People’s Committee, along with representatives of various departments and agencies.

On the afternoon of April 24th, the city’s Tourism Association, together with representatives of tourism enterprises, held a reception and working session with a delegation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, led by Consul General Alexander Dmitrievich Sidoruk. Leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs also attended the meeting.
