On the morning of August 25, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society held a conference in Hue to review the implementation process and share the outcomes of the project ‘Supporting the Recovery and Reconstruction of Schools Affected by Floods in 2025 in Hue and Danang’.

On the morning of August 11, leaders of Hue Central Hospital said the hospital had held a discharge ceremony for patient N.T.L., 34, from Quang Ngai Province, who recently underwent the hospital’s 24th heart transplant. After nearly two months of intensive treatment, the patient has made a good recovery, with stable health indicators, and was deemed fit to return home.

As part of the 500-day-and-night campaign to increase efforts in the search for and collection of the remains of fallen soldiers, collect biological samples, and conduct DNA testing to identify those whose identities remain unknown, officers and soldiers of Search and Recovery Team 192 under the Hue City Military Command, together with coordinating forces, are working day and night with a strong sense of responsibility and profound gratitude. Their efforts are helping bring fallen soldiers home to their families and loved ones.

On the afternoon of July 27, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh chaired a conference to review the progress of the ‘500 Days and Nights Campaign’ to accelerate the search, recovery, and identification of fallen soldiers’ remains, along with the program to replace temporary and dilapidated houses for the biological children of resistance fighters exposed to Agent Orange/dioxin across the city.

On the afternoon of July 14, a delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, and socio-political organizations, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of Team 192, who are carrying out the “500 days and nights campaign to search, recover, and identify martyrs’ remains”.

On June 22nd, Hue Central Hospital announced that patient P.M.D. (41 years old, residing in My Thuong Ward, Hue City), who received a heart transplant from a deceased brain-dead donor, had made a good recovery and was discharged from the hospital. This was the 23rd successful heart transplant performed at the hospital and the last of six recipients who received organs and tissues from the same brain-dead donor to be discharged.

On April 22nd, a delegation from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) (the Federal Republic of Germany) visited, surveyed, and held a working session at Hue Industrial College. The event marks a new step forward in the college’s international cooperation in training high-quality technical human resources.

On April 1st, the Traffic Police Division of Hue City Police reported that it had promptly received information, verified the case, and assisted two foreign tourists in recovering their misplaced property, ensuring a quick, safe, and regulation-compliant process. ​

In response to the appeal from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has donated 2 billion VND to Hue City to help overcome the aftermath of natural disasters, typhoons and floods in 2025.

On the afternoon of December 8, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh received and worked with a delegation from the city of Cergy (French Republic) led by Mr. Moussa Diarra, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Cooperation.
