On the afternoon of June 13, the Hue City People’s Committee Office announced that, as part of an official visit to Hungary, a delegation from Hue City led by Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, carried out a working session with the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary and met with the Vietnamese community and overseas Vietnamese businesses to promote cooperation, attract investment, and expand foreign relations. ​

On June 11th, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, held a working session with a South Korean delegation. The meeting aimed to promote cooperation in transportation and urban infrastructure projects while exploring the application of the transit-oriented development (TOD) model associated with Vietnam’s North-South High-Speed Railway.

As part of its international cooperation program, Hue Central Hospital welcomed and worked with a delegation of South Korean partners from June 8th to 10th, 2026, to expand cooperation in healthcare, research and development (R&D), technology transfer, and the development of specialized medical services in Hue City.

On the afternoon of May 8th, the Standing Committee of Hue City Party Committee held a working session with a delegation from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), led by Prof. Dr. Tran Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission, and President of VAST, to assess the implementation results of the 2025–2030 science and technology cooperation agreement between the two parties.

On the morning of May 8th, the Office of the City People’s Committee announced that in Kandy, Central Province of Sri Lanka, a high-level delegation from Hue City led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with leaders of the Central Province administration to discuss and promote cooperation opportunities in the coming period.

On the morning of March 25th, the Office of Hue City People’s Committee announced that, as part of the Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to the Russian Federation in Moscow, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with the Russian Federation Tourism Association to promote cooperation and tourism development between Hue City and Russia.

On the afternoon of December 16th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan held a reception and working session with a delegation from Carlsberg Vietnam Trading Co., Ltd. (Carlsberg) to discuss cooperation, promote collaboration, and outline future investment development directions.

On the afternoon of December 9, in Hue City, the Border Guard Commands of three provinces and cities: Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Ngai (Vietnam), held the 19th annual talks in 2025 with the Military Command of Sekong Province (Lao People's Democratic Republic).

On the morning of October 15, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Song Ho-jun, Deputy Mayor of Gyeongju City (Korea).

On the afternoon of September 9, Hue City People's Committee, in collaboration with Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, held a review of the science and technology cooperation program for the 2022 - 2025 period, with a vision toward 2030, and signed an agreement on cooperation in science and technology activities between the two sides for the 2025 - 2030 period.
