On the morning of November 24, Vietnam Women’s Union, in coordination with the Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control Fund and Hue City Women’s Union, organized a launching ceremony for the 2025 campaign promoting the role of families in preventing and controlling the harmful effects of tobacco, along with a training session on building “Healthy, Smoke-Free Families".

On November 17, the University of Law, Hue University, in collaboration with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) in Vietnam, organized an international scientific seminar on the topic “Prevention of Family Violence - Experiences from Germany and Vietnam”.

The above activity was recently organized by the Hue City Center for Disease Control (Hue CDC) with the aim of early detection of hypertension, preventing complications, and managing treatment for commune-level healthcare workers and collaborators in the communes of Vinh Loc, Huong Loc, Phu Vang, and Phu Vinh.

On December 5 and 6, at the Provincial Continuing Education Center, the Provincial Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, organized a training session on teaching safe swimming skills and preventing drowning in students.

Despite its abundant potential, river tourism in Hue remains underdeveloped, lagging behind its available natural resources. The lack of services, transport infrastructure, and collaboration in river tourism development have all posed significant barriers, preventing this sector from thriving.

When the clock strikes the transitional moment between the old and new days, many street corners in Hue are still bustling with late-night diners. They are mostly young people, students, and tourists who have contributed to preventing Hue's street corner from sleeping early.

Heavy rain throughout November 15 caused thousands of houses in key areas across the province to be seriously flooded. The flood also inundated and divided many low-lying areas in Quang Dien, Phong Dien, Phu Vang, Phu Loc districts, etc.
