On the morning of January 18th, Hue Poetry Association organized a program to review the Association’s activities in 2025 and to launch the poetry collection “Returning to the Land of Huong Ngu”. This was an opportunity to reflect on the previous year's events while also presenting to the public a brand-new poetry anthology, the product of the Association's numerous lively creative and poetic exchange activities.

On the first day of 2026, sunny weather set a serene and poetic tone in Hue. Both visitors and residents took time to savor the city’s unhurried, gentle pace. Beyond its famed heritage sites, spiritual and cultural spaces, parks, and public recreation areas were bustling with visitors.

On the familiar green chalkboard, under the skillful hands of Ms. Le Thi Loc Phuong, an art teacher from Tu Ha Primary School No. 1 (Huong Tra Ward), the heritage sites of Hue such as Ngu Phung Pavilion, Thien Mu Pagoda’s bell tower, or the graceful curve of Truong Tien Bridge gradually come to life. Each delicate stroke of white and colored chalk transforms the classroom chalkboard into a lively painting, evoking an image of Hue that is both serene and poetic.

Together with the Huong River - Ngu Mountain, the conical hat and the purple ao dai of Hue Women are also a symbolic cultural combo that is deeply connected with the locals in the Ancient Capital. And the poet Bui Giang once “fell in love”: The poetic conical hat / Taking you to Hue City / Sunshine pierces the rim / Revealing the soul of homeland in poetry… (Taking you to the city).

Without noise and haste, the journey invites travelers to lose themselves in the timeless, contemplative, and poetic beauty of Hue along the Huong River. In recent years, this experience has been reimaged with touches of elegance: afternoon tea at sunset, dinner under the stars, and the lingering notes of traditional Hue Singings.

In the heart of the poetic ancient capital, where natural beauty and traditional culture blend harmoniously, a music project named H.U.É has just been launched and made a strong impression on the art-loving community.

Hue is not only ancient with its heritage system; through the lens of domestic and international photographers, Hue is also poetic and emotional, filled with everyday scenes and the simplicity and kindness of its people.

For the first time, the royal tea party space of the Nguyen Dynasty has been recreated in the heart of Hue Imperial Citadel, introducing a poetic and promising new night-time tourism experience.

Often compared to a “land of a thousand pines” in the heart of Hue, the two hills of Thien An and Vong Canh consistently captivate visitors with their poetic, romantic scenery. Already crowded on regular days, during the holidays they attract even more people who come to breathe in the fresh air and immerse themselves in the lush natural surroundings.

After the three masterpieces of his life had been placed along the Le Loi street by the poetic river of Perfume, recently sculptor Le Thanh Nhon has returned to Hue in his own way.
