As Phu Dien Tower, a National-level Architectural and Artistic Relic, faces growing challenges from climate change and natural disasters, experts have proposed a number of conservation measures, including studying options to raise the entire tower structure or foundation, and installing pumping and drainage systems.

The highland district of A Luoi, Hue City, boasts the pristine beauty of the Truong Son mountains and forests, with the white cascade of the A Nor Waterfall standing out amid endless stretches of green. What draws visitors here is not only the natural scenery, but also the distinctive cultural values of the Ta Oi and Pa Co ethnic communities.

Hue City is the urban area with the highest density of trees in the country, with more than 64,000 trees lining its streets, parks, and lush green garden houses. On the morning of May 26th, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan led a field survey of the Tam Giang lagoon area, mangrove forests, and coastal infrastructure in the eastern part of the city to assess the potential for developing ecotourism and community-based tourism associated with conserving natural ecosystems and improving local livelihoods.

With its potential and advantages in natural resources, local culture, traditional craft villages, and agricultural and fishing livelihoods, regional zoning linked with eco-tourism and community-based tourism (CBT) development orientations will help promote sustainable tourism growth in Hue.
