On the morning of August 18, at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh’s childhood in Duong No Village (Duong No Ward), Hue City Youth and Children’s Center, in coordination with Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City, organized the 2026 history-learning journey ‘Following Uncle Ho’s Footsteps - Pride in Our Homeland’s Traditions’.

One day in mid-July, Vo Que, the poet, and the Hue City Museum of History jointly launched his publication of ‘Loi ca chau ngoc’ (tentative translation: Exquisite Lyrics). Many audience members could not help but be moved by the heartfelt devotion of a man deeply attached to Ca Hue (Hue-Singing music).

The exhibition ‘Golden Heritage – A Convergence of Excellence’ is being held at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, showcasing more than 100 valuable artifacts and sets of artifacts crafted during the Nguyen Dynasty. Each object tells a vivid story of history, fine arts, and the royal life.

On the morning of July 31, at the Southern Women’s Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, the Tran Van Khe Scholarship Foundation held the announcement and award presentation ceremony for the 2026 Tran Van Khe Awards. Notably, the Hue Royal Traditional Arts Theatre was one of only two organizations honored in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the preservation, research, and promotion of Vietnam’s traditional music.

Many valuable archival materials of the Nguyen Dynasty, as well as Hue’s historic structures and rituals, remain scattered across museums, archival centers, and private collections abroad. Through international cooperation and connections with researchers and cultural organizations, Hue is working to bring these archival resources home to support the restoration, conservation, and reconstruction of its heritage.

On the afternoon of July 10, Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in collaboration with Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, Ho Chi Minh Antique Association, and private collectors, opened an exhibition titled “Golden Heritage - A Convergence of Excellence” at Long An Palace - Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities.

After months of intensive study, summer is the time for many parents to take their children to libraries and museums for recreation and sightseeing activities, allowing them to relax and enjoy a truly meaningful summer break.

On the evening of July 7, Hue Museum of Fine Arts officially opened the performance and exhibition program titled “The Knowledge of Tailoring and Wearing Hue Ao Dai” at Diem Phung Thi Art Center (No.17 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa Ward).

On the morning of July 6, Hue City Museum of History opened an exhibition themed “School Ao-dai” at its headquarters at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City.

On the morning of June 26, Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, in collaboration with Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuy Xuan Ward, organized a communication program on moral and lifestyle education within families. The event was held in response to the National Action Month on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control and to mark the 25th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day (2001–2026).

Up to now, the Museum of Nature of the Central Coastal Region has collected and is storing more than 4,500 specimens including many sets of samples of different species. Typically, geological and mineral samples, fish samples, forest wood samples, tiger, elephant, gaur samples, etc.

Every year the museum welcomes tens of thousands of visitors to visit and enjoy.

As a new technology launched in Hue, works at the museum can interact with visitors through different effects and movements.

During the 100-year journey of existence and operation, the ancient Khai Dinh Museum, now the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, is promoting its mission of preserving the heritage of previous generations.
