On the occasion of welcoming New Year and the Lunar New Year 2025, the Year of Snake, on the night of January 14, Hue City People’s Committee held a new year meeting party with the participation of international tourists, volunteers, experts, and foreign investors working in the city area.

On the morning of September 16th, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a courtesy meeting with Ms. Dong Bich Du, Consul General of China in Da Nang City.

It is undeniable that investment promotion activities are making great strides in recent times, but investment promotion activities also need to be adjusted to be more consistent with planning and development orientations of the province.

Investment promotion plays an extremely important role, contributing to attracting investment capital; forming industrial and export processing zones to serve the manufacturing of exports. With a favorable geographical location, open investment attraction policies, gradually refined mechanisms and policies for socio-economic development, etc., Thua Thien Hue has become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.

With the help and companionship from members of the province's startup ecosystem and investors inside and outside the province, many startups or startup ideas and projects, even though they started small, have overcome difficulties in their entrepreneurial journey and are gradually asserting their position in the market.

On the morning of March 5th, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Vice Chairman, Nguyen Thanh Binh, had a meeting with Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang.

Economic and industrial zones in the province are key areas for attracting investment. However, in order to capture the attention of significant investors, it is necessary to create an open environment with many solutions to support businesses. Regarding this issue, Thua Thien Hue Weekly had an exchange with Mr. Le Van Tue, Head of the Provincial Economic and Industrial Zones Management Board.

Strongly improving the investment and business environment has been helping Thua Thien Hue gain a competitive advantage, and attract domestic as well as foreign investments. This was the desire of the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong announced in the courtesy meeting held on the afternoon of February 16 with the newly-accredited Consul General of South Korea in Da Nang - Kang Boo Sung.

Many large projects have been launched in the expectation of kick-starting the socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue. With the policy of investment attraction, after the pandemic, the economy is making a step-by-step recovery.
