“Hue City is committed to standing alongside businesses by fostering a transparent, convenient, and stable investment environment, while promptly addressing challenges and obstacles so that investors can confidently establish a long-term presence in the city”. That was the message delivered by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, and Head of the city's National Assembly Delegation, at an investment promotion discussion between Hue City and Chinese enterprises held on the afternoon of July 29th.

A business-friendly investment climate, coupled with the city government's strong commitment to supporting enterprises, is becoming a key driver in attracting investors to choose Hue as a long-term investment destination.

This was the information announced on the morning of July 4 by Mr. Tran Dinh Quoc, Supervising Engineer at VSICO Maritime JSC (VSICO), the investor of Chan May Port Berths No.4 and No.5 General Cargo and Container Terminal Project.

On June 30th, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, chaired a courtesy meeting and working session with a delegation from South Korea's KX Group, led by Lee Kang Bong, Vice Chairman of the Group.

On June 4, a delegation from Hue City, led by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, had a conference to meet with Chinese tourism businesses and investors in Beijing, China. The delegation also had the participation of representatives from Hue City Department of Tourism and Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade, and Enterprise Support.

On the evening of May 7, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Ha Van Tuan had a meeting with investors at Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone to review the implementation progress of industrial, logistics, seaports, and service infrastructure projects in the area.

Alongside activities that support and accompany businesses and investors in accessing project information and related procedures, Hue City also places emphasis on signing memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and strategic cooperation agreements with major investors to build a foundation for long-term engagement between the government and investors.

On the morning of March 29th, in Thuan Hoa ward, Hue City, Van Phu Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company (project developer) and Union Success Vietnam Joint Stock Company (investor) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Vlasta Premier - Phu Hoi Project (technical infrastructure component).

On the afternoon of February 26, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, led a delegation to visit and work with several major businesses and investors in the locality at the beginning of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on the evening of February 2, Hue City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City organized a Spring Reception to meet, congratulate, and express gratitude to diplomatic agencies, international organizations, investors, experts, and friends, who have partnered and cooperated with the locality over the past years.
