On the afternoon of January 15, the City’s Sports Training and Competition Center held a review and commendation ceremony honoring coaches and athletes who were awarded prestigious State titles and achieved outstanding results at the 33rd SEA Games.

In response to the appeal from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has donated 2 billion VND to Hue City to help overcome the aftermath of natural disasters, typhoons and floods in 2025.

On the evening of September 26, Hue City Tourism Association, in coordination with the Hue City Hotel Association and Hue Tourism College, organized the closing ceremony, summary, and award ceremony for the 2025 Receptionist Skills Competition; and a gala dinner.

In 2024, there has been six individuals who donated artifacts, and nine establishments and individuals involved in producing traditional Hue handicrafts supported the Thua Thien Hue Museum of History in its exhibition and display efforts to promote Hue’s cultural heritage to the public and visitors.

Currently, there are around 34.000 people with disabilities in the provincial area, including about 950 being cared for and supported at public and non-public social assistance facilities.

On the morning of October 15, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation held a ceremony to honor outstanding collectives and individuals in the summer youth volunteer movement in the period of 2000 – 2024.

According to information from the Provincial Forest Protection Department, on September 25, the forest ranger units have received three individuals of rare and precious wild animals, which were voluntarily handed over by residents via hotlines.

On the afternoon of April 7, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to honor "Outstanding Citizens of Thua Thien Hue Province" from 2020-2022 and reward at the state level for units and individuals with outstanding achievements in the year 2022.
