On the afternoon of December 3, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) held an online conference to launch the Petrovietnam STEM Innovation Program. Hue City’s live broadcast was hosted at the headquarters of the Department of Education and Training.

On the afternoon of November 15, the Department of Education and Training (DOET) held an online training session on developing digital competence (DC) for high school students, in accordance with Circular 02/2025/TT-BGDDT and other directives guiding the implementation of the Ministry of Education and Training’s Digital Competence Framework. ​

At the same time, they also launched an Online Competition in exploring Digital Transformation in Hue City in 2025.

To ensure good preparation for the Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2025 - 2026, linked to the 80th Anniversary Ceremony of the Traditional Day of Education sector, held online nationwide on the morning of September 5, the Department of Education and Training (DoET) established inspection teams on September 4. These teams were tasked with assessing the preparation and guiding the organization of the new academic year's opening ceremony at educational institutions across the city.

On February 15, the Employment Service Center – the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs held the opening ceremony of the Month of Job Fair in 2025 with the theme “Spring Connecting Jobs”. Over 200 workers and 35 enterprises joined the direct and online recruitment on the opening day.

On April 13th, VnExpress newspaper, in coordination with the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and FPT Online Joint Stock Company, held a press conference to announce the VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2023 race.
