In response to the series of activities within the framework of the Autumn Festival themed “Hue in Autumn” of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, the Department of Tourism, in coordination with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the People’s Committee of Phu Xuan Ward, is preparing a variety of exciting programs for locals and visitors. Among them, the most anticipated highlight is the Unicorn-Lion-Dragon Dance Festival, Hue Unicorn dance performances, and the Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade through the streets in 2025.

The 36th Hue City traditional boat racing - 2025 kicked off on the morning of September 2 on the North bank of the Huong River, about 300 meters from Nghinh Luong Dinh Pavilion towards Da Vien Bridge. The event was held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2), and it also served as a competitive sport for the 10th Hue City Sports Festival - 2026.

The VnExpress Marathon Hue 2025 officially kicked off on the morning of April 6th, with the starting point at Phu Van Lau (Le Duan Street). A record-breaking participation of 12,000 runners was recorded at this fifth edition of the large-scale marathon in the Ancient Capital.
