In May, many activities rich in traditional cultural identity will be held. Highlights include Hue Vesak Week 2026, featuring Buddhist rituals and cultural spaces characteristic of the Ancient Capital; the Vegetarian Cuisine Festival with the participation of numerous chefs and culinary establishments. In addition, the Duong No Village Festival will recreate a traditional rural setting, connecting visitors with local cultural life.

At the same time, exhibitions such as “Homeland Festival” showcasing historical documents and images; the opening ceremony of Hue City Sports Games; the promotional program “Lang Co - World’s Beautiful Bay”; and the Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of Ethnic Minorities in mountainous areas will further enrich the festival landscape.

Moving into June, Hue International Arts Festival Week will be the highlight, featuring performances by domestic and international artists across multiple community stages. The street festival “Colors of Culture” is expected to energize the urban space with vibrant performances. In addition, a wide range of experiential activities such as the Lantern Festival, Beer Festival, Hue Lotus Festival 2026, photo tours, “Countryside Market Day”, along with fine arts and heritage exhibitions and thematic showcases on the art of Le Ba Dang, will continue to draw attention to this year’s summer festival season.

The Hue Festival 2026 Organizing Committee stated that the publication of the schedule aims to help visitors proactively plan their time and easily immerse themselves in the colorful festival atmosphere of the Ancient Capital.
