On the morning of December 1st, the Department of Education and Training (DOET) presented Certificates of Merit to the following schools: Gia Hoi High School, Huong Vinh High School, Dang Tran Con High School, Ly Tu Trong Secondary School, Phu Binh Primary School, and Ngo Kha Primary School, for effectively carrying out flood prevention and post-flood recovery efforts during the recent flooding events.

The Karate and Taekwondo competitions of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival (2025-2026) officially opened on the morning of October 24th at the Multi-purpose Gymnasium of the Faculty of Physical Education - Hue University. In 2020, when male officials and civil servants of the Department of Culture and Sports wore ao dai during working days and the weekly flag-raising ceremony, it immediately sparked controversy online. Then, it was not just the cultural sector, at important events, the provincial leaders (now Hue City) and intellectuals also began wearing ao dai. The appearance of the traditional ao dai for both men and women at cultural and educational events made the ceremonies more solemn, elegant, and impressive.

On June 20 and 21, at the the Training Center of Hue Central Hospital, the Neurosurgery Conference for Training Doctos and the Vietnam Neurosurgical Nursing Conference took place. The events were organized by the Vietnam Neurosurgical Society in collaboration with Hue Central Hospital.

On June 2nd, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City announced that the 2025 Community Ao Dai Week will take place from June 6th to 15th, kicked off with a special art program titled “Hue Ao dai” at An Dinh Palace on the evening of June 6th.
