Ngoc Linh ginseng is an endemic medicinal plant species with exceptional medical and economic value. However, the natural distribution area of this ginseng species is currently minimal, while the demand for conservation, development, and sustainable exploitation continues to grow. Research into transplanting Ngoc Linh ginseng to ecologically similar regions, such as Hue, is not only a scientific necessity but also opens opportunities to expand the conservation space and develop this precious medicinal plant.

More than just a heritage city, Hue is increasingly becoming a “regional diffusion axis”, linking economic corridors and opening opportunities for cooperation and sustainable investment for the Central region.

Hue Monuments of Conservation Center is gradually building up a huge heritage archive, which is known as a foundation for a model of smart heritage management, which not only preserves but also creates new values for the work of cultural - economic development.

The event titled “Hue - Innovation for Sustainable Development” (Hue Innovation Day 2025) and the forum “Developing Private Economy in Connection with Heritage Economy Development in Hue” were recently held, opening new perspectives on harnessing heritage values as an economic resource. From the stories of young businesses to the strategy of heritage urban development, Hue is affirming its own path: Turning heritage into a sustainable development momentum.

The coastal area in Hue, especially Chan May - Lang Co area, home to the economic zone of the same name, is emerging as a bright spot with the leading role in development not only within the locality, but also in inter-regional spread.
