The 5th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2026, with the message “Books - Knowledge - Aspiration for National Development”, organized by Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, officially opened on the morning of April 21st at Hue City Library (29A Le Quy Don Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).

In the context of rapid global digital transformation, the digital economy is no longer an optional trend but has become a core driver of development for countries and localities. As the costs of raw materials and fuel continue to rise and market requirements become increasingly stringent, digitalization combined with green production is becoming an inevitable direction for many businesses and manufacturing facilities in Hue City. In addition to optimizing costs and improving efficiency, digitalizing production processes also opens up opportunities to elevate quality and increase product value.

This was the theme of the Ancient Capital Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2026, organized by Hue City Obstetrics and Gynecology Association on the morning of April 11.

Building a digital data infrastructure to preserve history on maps is the mission that Le Quang Tue, founder and manager of the Vietnam Map Archive project, and his team members have been quietly pursuing. To date, Tue’s team has digitized over 200 ancient maps of Vietnam, including ancient maps of Hue.

On March 12, the City Tax Department and Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) - Hue Branch signed a cooperation agreement to jointly provide guidance on tax policies aimed at supporting household businesses in their digital transformation.

At Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, the application of technology to digitize heritage artifacts and antiques has been implemented early, allowing visitors to experience the artifacts from afar.

As a new technology launched in Hue, works at the museum can interact with visitors through different effects and movements.
