On the morning of August 5, Hue City People’s Committee held its regular press briefing for July 2026. The briefing was chaired by Mr. Hoang Viet Cuong, Chief of the City People’s Committee Office; Mr. Tran Cong Thich Vuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance; and Mr. Nguyen Huy Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports.

After more than three weeks, the training program on Hue-Singing (Ca Hue) performance skills for more than 180 music teachers from primary schools across Hue City, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, concluded on the afternoon of July 31.

On the afternoon of July 28, Hue Department of Science and Technology held a conference to launch, introduce and provide guidance on the 2026 enterprise innovation survey. The event attracted nearly 100 businesses, along with representatives from relevant agencies and organizations.

On the evening of July 25th, at Thuong Bac Park, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with partner organizations, staged the "Bun bo Hue - The Legend of Van Cu and Huong Ngu Symphony" performance, a signature event of Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program. The event was attended by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee.

On the morning of July 25, the Department of Education and Training held a working session with schools and local authorities on preparations for launching the boarding inter-level schools in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes, to ensure conditions are in place for teaching, student care and support from the beginning of the new academic year.

On the late afternoon of July 24, the Department of Tourism, in coordination with relevant units, organized the National Bun bo Hue Festival. This is one of the highlight activities of the Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program, aimed at honoring traditional values and spreading the Bun bo Hue brand to a wide audience of residents and visitors.

On the morning of July 24, the Department of Tourism coordinated with Hue Monuments Conservation Center to present gifts to Ms. Ha Phuong and her son in recognition of their 790-km walk from Hanoi to Hue as a gesture of encouragement.

Marking the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), on the afternoon of July 23, Hue City’s leadership authorized the Department of Home Affairs, led by the Department’s Deputy Director Do Minh Long, to visit and present gifts to people with meritorious service and policy beneficiary families in various wards and communes, including: Binh Dien, Huong Tra, and Kim Tra.

On the afternoon of July 23, the Department of Industry and Trade held a conference to discuss measures to boost export growth in 2026 and achieve the city’s export target, contributing to the implementation of the city’s goal of recording GRDP of over 10%.

On the evening of July 23, at Thuong Bac Park in Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program, themed ‘Bun bo Hue (Hue beef noodle soup) Day’, officially opened. The program is led by the Department of Tourism, in coordination with relevant units, as part of Hue Festival 2026 series of events.
