“Aside from the theme of Hue's cultural heritage, what impresses and moves me most while creating artistic photographs in this land is its people. Hue's people are simple, rustic, and have their identity,” shared photographer Hoang Quoc Vinh (born in 1986, Gia Lai), who was recently honored with an award for the outstanding artistic work about Hue for his photo collection “ Complex of Hue Monuments”, in an interview with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.

On the afternoon of June 3, at the Truong Lang Corridor of the Forbidden City, Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue University of Arts organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition on arts and heritage, with the theme “Artistic inspiration from royal patterns”. The exhibition is part of a series of activities in response to the highlight week of Hue Festival 2024.

The cultural heritage left by the Nguyen Dynasty in Hue, in particular, and Vietnam in general, is extremely voluminous, including historical, cultural, landscape, artistic, scientific, and economic values... The preservation and promotion of the values of the artistic heritage of Hue Singing (Ca Hue) have captured much attention recently.
