As reported by Hue Central Hospital, they have marked a significant milestone in Vietnamese medicine by successfully performing the first kidney transplant in the country using the LifePort hypothermic machine perfusion (HMP) system. This is a breakthrough in organ preservation technology, and opens a new chapter for Vietnam’s organ transplantation field.

At the end of May, Hue hosted the first session of a local artist training course organized by 4ll-in Performance Art Company (4LLIN). Coming to Hue, the young members of 4LLIN brought the project “Developing the performing arts ecosystem in Hue, from June to December 2025.”

At the 2024 International Dance Festival, Vietnamese art troupes have achieved outstanding success through performance programs and independent dance works. On the afternoon of August 18, at the Pediatrics Department of Hue Central Hospital, the Hue Brass Band held a music performance on the occasion of Ullambana Festival.

The International Dance Festival 2024, organized by the Department of Performing Arts (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, will take place from August 17 to 22 at the Provincial Center for Culture and Cinema (41A Hung Vuong Street, Hue City).

The heavy rain on the night of June 9th caused a slight delay in the performance of the Double Impro dance group from Wallonia-Brussels, Belgium, at the stage of Quoc Hoc Pavilion. Nevertheless, thousands of spectators eagerly awaited the artists' appearance on stage.
