The 12th International Day of Yoga and the 2nd Hue City Open Yoga Championship 2026 officially opened on July 26th as part of the 4th Hue Sports Festival 2026. The events were jointly organized by Linh Kha Yoga Club and the Embassy of India in Hanoi.

On the evening of July 23, at Thuong Bac Park in Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program, themed ‘Bun bo Hue (Hue beef noodle soup) Day’, officially opened. The program is led by the Department of Tourism, in coordination with relevant units, as part of Hue Festival 2026 series of events.

As part of the celebrations for Vesak 2570 (Buddhist Era) and Hue Festival 2026, the Vegetarian Food Festival - Hue Festival 2026 officially opened on the afternoon of May 28th (the 12th day of the fourth lunar month) at the riverside area along the Perfume River. The event is jointly organized by the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City and the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2026.

On April 18, at Secret Affairs Institute - Tam Toa Complex (No. 33, Tong Duy Tan Street, Phu Xuan Ward), Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened the exhibition “Stories from Ancient Manuscripts.” The event responds to Hue Festival 2026 - the Summer Festival themed “The Shining Citadel” and looks ahead to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21).

The launching ceremony of the “All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho” campaign; the Olympic Run Day “For Public Health - For National Security”; and the opening of the 34th Traditional cross-country Race 2026 – an event of the 10th City Sports Festival, took place on the morning of March 22nd at Nghinh Luong Dinh Pavilion.

On the morning of February 28 (the 12th day of the first lunar month in the Year of the Horse), at the Thai Duong Cultural Village Communal House in Thuan An Ward, the 2026 traditional Fish Worshipping (Cau Ngu) Festival officially opened in a solemn and vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large number of People, fishermen, and visitors.

On the morning of February 26 (the 10th day of the first lunar month), Sinh Village wrestling festival in Duong No Ward, Hue City, officially opened in a vibrant atmosphere, drawing large crowds of residents and visitors from across the region to cheer and compete in the arena.

On December 23, at Hue City Police, Emulation Group No. 2 of the Ministry of Public Security held the opening ceremony for a Sports Festival celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Staff Force Traditional Day (April 18, 1946 - April 18, 2026).

On the evening of August 19, the Department of Culture and Sports opened the Culture and Sports Festival in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Culture and Information Sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).

In the framework of the 2025 Open Day Festival, on April 13, the University of Agriculture and Forestry welcomed teachers and 150 students from Nguyen Chi Thanh High school.
