In line with the policy of expanding foreign relations and international cooperation in the People’s Public Security Force, as well as the 2026 cooperation plan between Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior, from June 16 to 20, 2026, a delegation from Hue City Police, led by Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Director of Hue City Police, had a official visit to Siem Reap Provincial Police in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Three bears rescued in Thai Nguyen Province and Hanoi have been successfully transported to Vietnam Bear Rescue Center at Bach Ma National Park. The event also marks a milestone of 300 bears rescued in Vietnam since 2007.

Hue is famous for the Perfume River, Mount Ngu, the Citadel, royal tombs, pagodas, and noble residences, but Hue is also well known for its gardens. More than 3 years after the passing of folk artisan Cong Ton Nu Tri Hue, the one who kept the secret techniques of making royal armrest pillows of the Nguyen Dynasty, also known as the “trai dua” (armrest pillow-blocks), an exhibition dedicated to her titled “Wholeheartedly, with devotion” has been organized by young people.

The artwork “Whispers” by Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen, a student from the University of Arts, Hue University, has recently been honored as an outstanding work at the 8th “Hue Young Fine Arts Award” 2026.

For many years, the development of waterway tourism has been a consistent goal, as the potential of Hue's rivers remained largely untapped. Following the City People's Committee's announcement of the inland waterway route on the Ngu Ha River, along with the pilot launch of heritage-linked tourism routes using electric boats on the Huong River and its tributaries, the local waterway tourism is expected to be unlocked.
