After decades spent living almost solely in the memories of elderly artisans, Hue traditional musical notation system - the notation system tied to royal court music (Nha nhac) - is being revived and gradually digitized.

After nearly two decades of practicing art, Mr. Nguyen Van He has found himself returning to one question: How can memories be transformed into hope? The Hue-born artist has “distilled” his answer into ‘Folding a Sky’, an exhibition he painstakingly brought from Kim Son Hill to Ho Chi Minh City to present to the public in mid-July.

On the afternoon of April 26th, Vietnam Haiku Poetry Club - Hue Ancient Capital branch held a gathering and poetry - music exchange to commemorate the 51st anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30th, 1975 - April 30th, 2026). As “blackened teeth” have faded from daily life, the craft of making tooth-blackening powder, once closely tied to that custom, has also gradually faded away… In Hue, Mr. Dinh Bao An (63 years old, residing on Chi Lang Street) and his wife are the last keepers of the family formula for this powder, a fragment of the memories of Hue smiles in the past.

Officially coming into operation for over a year, the General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum is one of the non-public museums that has attracted a great number of visitors.
