Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tien, PhD., MD., (46 years old), Director of the Cardiovascular Center and Head of the Department of Internal Cardiology at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, has officially been awarded the title of the youngest professor in the medical field in 2025. For Professor Tien, being recognized as one of the youngest professors in medicine this year is a great honor; at the same time, this carries an even greater responsibility, as this milestone reminds him to continually maintain passion and dedication across all aspects of his work.

On February 13th, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee, conducted a field survey and inspection of inland waterway tourism routes to assess their current status, development potential, and prospects for investment in tourism products and services.

On the afternoon of December 31, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment held a conference to review its 2025 performance and roll out tasks in the field of agriculture and environment in 2026.

On the morning of November 3, a working delegation from Hue City People's Committee, led by Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee, conducted a field inspection at some landslide and vulnerable areas in (formerly) Nam Dong District.

On September 12, in Hue City, the Department of International Cooperation, the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology held a training conference on international integration and cooperation in the field of Science and Technology for officials from departments, agencies, businesses, and reporters. At the same time, they also launched an Online Competition in exploring Digital Transformation in Hue City in 2025.

From August 24th to 29th, the CIPA 2025 Symposium took place in Seoul, South Korea, with the theme “Heritage Conservation from Digital Data: From Digital Documentation to Data-Based Heritage Preservation”. This major forum brought together nearly 1.000 experts, researchers, and international organizations in the field of conservation.

A team of experts from Japan, in collaboration with the Faculty of History (University of Sciences, Hue University), is conducting a survey of the Thanh Loi National Relic Site, located in Thuy Xuan Ward, Hue City.

On June 25, Vice Chairmen of Hue City People’s Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, and Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, conducted field inspections and working sessions with local authorities regarding preparations and operation of the two-level local government model. Leaders from relevant departments and sectors also attended the working sessions.

On the afternoon of June 11th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, met and held a working session with Mr. Kobayashi Yosuke, the newly appointed Chief Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Vietnam.
