As the five-day National Day holiday approaches, featuring a vibrant lineup of cultural, artistic, sports, and experiential activities, Hue is expected to welcome over 500,000 tourist arrivals.

As Phu Dien Tower, a National-level Architectural and Artistic Relic, faces growing challenges from climate change and natural disasters, experts have proposed a number of conservation measures, including studying options to raise the entire tower structure or foundation, and installing pumping and drainage systems.

Drawing inspiration from renowned artists with the combination of traditional materials, the child artists had the chance to experience an inspiring creative journey. On the evening of July 25th, at Thuong Bac Park, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with partner organizations, staged the "Bun bo Hue - The Legend of Van Cu and Huong Ngu Symphony" performance, a signature event of Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program. On the evening of July 8th, at Hue City Center for Culture and Cinema, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Hue City People's Committee, held the closing ceremony of the 2026 Three-Region Folk Instrumental Music and Folk Singing Festival. During the ceremony, the organizing committee presented numerous awards to outstanding artistic ensembles, individuals, performances, and programs.

On the evening of July 6th, at Nghinh Luong Pavilion, Hue City Department of Culture and Sports organized the artistic performance and flashmob event ‘Ao Dai - The Rhythm of Youth’. The program attracted large crowds of local residents, visitors, and hundreds of children.

Together in a fashion and artistic program, each of the Ao dai collections expresses its own cultural stories, showcasing beauty by the romantic Perfume River, evoking a wide range of emotions among audiences.

Against a backdrop of upbeat music and dynamic artistic lighting effects, dozens of young models took to the runway, showcasing impressive collections by renowned fashion designers at “Cham 2.”

On the afternoon of June 14th, the Hue’s ‘Heritage Doors’ exhibition opened at Kien Trung Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel, introducing the public to dozens of remarkable artworks inspired by the heritage of the Ancient Capital. The event is part of Hue Festival 2026 and serves as a major artistic highlight attracting art enthusiasts, visitors, and members of the creative community.

On the evening of June 14, thousands of audiences filled the riverside stage area along the Perfume River to relive the timeless songs of the late musician Trinh Cong Son during the special artistic program “25 Years of Remembering Trinh Cong Son”, held under the theme “Hue - Saigon - Hanoi”.
