In the quiet and profound artistic space of Hue, Trinh Cong Son's music has never faded. More than half a century, songs such as "Diem Xua", "Quynh Huong", "O tro", "Nang Thuy tinh”, etc., are still present in the spiritual life of the people in the Ancient Capital, especially the young ones.

Hue is asserting its pioneering role in preserving and promoting heritage values, from tangible treasures to intangible performance spaces. A journey of “preservation for revival” with long-term vision, modern technology, and initiatives close to young people.

In this age, with just a smart phone, all people, both old and young, can easily capture beautiful moments. But only professional photographers can take photos which are full of cultural identity of a land.

With appealing flavors and unique artistic designs, entremet cakes (a type of dessert originating from France) have gained great attraction and are especially loved by young people, particularly on meaningful celebratory occasions.

This was the theme of a workshop organized by Hue Book and Culture Club, within the framework of the “Hue of Love” Book Fair, held on the afternoon of April 9 at Hue Book and Culture Space (at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street).

Remaking second-hand clothes, a hobby with hand-embroidered patterns, or adding small, delicate fabric pieces is something many young people are enjoying. With just a few simple stitches, these techniques can transform an old outfit into something unique and stylish, capturing attention with its distinctiveness and personality.

French architectural works are considered an integral part of the cultural and historical landscape of the Ancient Capital. This has also motivated young people from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University to seek ways to contribute to preserving the image of ancient Hue.

On the morning of January 12th, Hue City Youth and Children Activity Center hosted the Vietnamese and Korean Traditional Tet Experience event under the theme “Spring of Connection - Peaceful Tet.”

"I want each of my works not only to be beautiful but also to tell a story about Co Tu people, their life, their beliefs and their traditional values left behind by their ancestors,” said Pham Van Ve, a 26-year-old man with a passion for portraying his ethnic identity through wood carving.

A large number of soldiers from the armed forces and young people in Hue City attended the film screenings to watch films and documentaries focused on the themes of the army and soldiers, as part of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024).
