On the afternoon of January 29th, Hue University of Sciences High School for Gifted Students organized an experiential activity titled “Hue Tuong masks - When art becomes heritage” for students. The program is part of the Local Education curriculum, aiming to help students gain a deeper understanding of local history and culture, thereby fostering love for their homeland and an awareness of the importance of respecting and preserving traditional cultural heritage values.

As part of experiential education activities aligned with the national general education curriculum, on January 23, nearly 300 students from Hue University of Sciences High School for the Gifted visited the Museum of Nature in the Central Coastal Region (No. 5 Diem Phung Thi Street, Vy Da Ward) for study tours and hands-on learning experiences.

On the morning of January 17, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, Hue University, and Hue City Youth Union jointly organized the 2026 Admissions and Career Counseling Program at Hue City Youth Activity Center.

On the evening of January 9, the University of Education, Hue University, held a ceremony to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnamese Students’ Association (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2026).

The 2025 Hue Universities and Colleges Table Tennis Tournament officially opened on the evening of January 5 at the Gymnasium of the Faculty of Physical Education, Hue University. The tournament is a traditional sporting event jointly organized by Hue University and Professional Sports Association, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.

On the morning of December 29, the Macaulay2 Winter School officially opened at the University of Education, Hue University.

On the evening of December 29, the final round of the 2025 Student Singing Contest (HUEdu Singer) took place at Hall 1 of Hue University of Education, Hue University.

On December 20th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in coordination with the Institute of International Education, organized the “European Study Abroad and Career Orientation Fair”.

During a career orientation session at Byron Nelson High School in Texas, USA, my daughter and I had the opportunity to experience an exceptionally well-organized Culinary Arts vocational training model. In the U.S. education system, students are guided toward basic career paths as soon as they enter middle school, preparing them for vocational training in high school if they choose not to pursue a university pathway.

The 2025 Men’s National Student Football Championship - TV360 Cup ended with the championship title belonging to Hue University after a nail-biting victory over Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports in the penalty shootout.
