On the morning of October 11, Hue Central Hospital organized the expanded Women's Scientific Conference of Hue Central Hospital in 2025 with the theme “Intellectual women in the era of technology and digital transformation in medicine”. This event aims to honor the role and contributions of intellectual women in medical sector, while also serving as a scientific forum to update advancements and share experiences in applying modern treatment methods and developing advanced medical techniques.

“Hue Innovation Day 2025” forum (“Hue innovates for sustainable development”) with the theme “Developing the private economy in the digital economy - Opportunities and directions for Hue” and Hue Startup Fair 2025 are being co-organized by Hue Institute for Development Studies, the Department of Science and Technology, and Hue Monuments Conservation Center over two days, October 9 and 10.

On October 8th in Hanoi, Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) was honored at the Vietnam Digital Awards (VDA) 2025 in the “Outstanding Digital Transformation Enterprise/Organization” category with its “Digital Identification and Exhibition of Nguyen Dynasty Antiquities” solution.

When the theme for World Tourism Day (September 27, 2025) was chosen as “Tourism and sustainable transformation”, many people immediately thought of Hue’s approach to tourism. In its development orientation, Hue tourism consistently focuses on promoting sustainable transformation, especially transitioning to green, sustainable tourism, adapting to climate change.

On the afternoon of September 30, Hue Central Hospital held a ceremony to announce the implementation of electronic medical records. This was a significant event, marking a new milestone in the digital transformation of healthcare, aiming towards a paperless smart hospital model. It was also part of the activities to celebrate the 17th Congress of Hue City Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term and the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

In the current trend of digital transformation, the healthcare sector of Hue City is leading the way in building a smart hospital model, modernizing medical examination and treatment system, improving service quality, and enhancing patient satisfaction.

On September 16, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, had a courtesy meeting with Mr. To Dung Thai, Chairman of the Member Council of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT).

On September 16, in Hanoi, the National Data Association (NDA) had a working session with Hue Monuments Conservation Center to discuss a cooperation plan in digital transformation and heritage data development. Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Vice Chairman of the NDA; Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center; and Mr. Nguyen Long, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Informatics Association, attended the working session.

On September 12, in Hue City, the Department of International Cooperation, the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology held a training conference on international integration and cooperation in the field of Science and Technology for officials from departments, agencies, businesses, and reporters. At the same time, they also launched an Online Competition in exploring Digital Transformation in Hue City in 2025.

Building on digital citizens is a key factor that determines the success of the digital transformation revolution. In response to this urgent requirement, the “Digital Literacy for All” movement is seen as a practical and strategic initiative to popularize digital skills among the population.
