The ‘Hue Ancient Capital - Phong Nha: World Heritage Journey’ tourist train (HQ1/HQ2) has recently been launched, connecting famous destinations in Central Vietnam through an engaging rail travel experience. The new service offers a new way to connect destinations, while giving residents and visitors a wider range of options for travel and exploration.

On September 15th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in coordination with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, organized the 2026 Resident Doctors’ Day and welcomed 150 new resident doctors from 18 specialties for the 2026-2029 training program. These young doctors are beginning their journey of study, practice and research at the hospital.

On the afternoon of August 28, the University of Education, Hue University, held a meeting and signing ceremony with the University of Education and the Rencontres du Vietnam Organization on a 2+3 engineer training program.

On the morning of August 28, Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), in collaboration with Quang Tri Province People’s Committee and Hue People’s Committee, officially launched the ‘Phong Nha - Hue Imperial City: A World Heritage Journey’ tourist train at Dong Hoi Railway Station. Later that day, Hue City welcomed the train and held a ceremony to mark its arrival.

From August 25 to 27, an intensive training program for Happy School trainers for the 2026-2027 academic year was held in Hue, bringing together a core team of education officials and teachers. The program marks an important preparatory step toward integrating the spirit and values of Happy Schools into educational institutions across the city.

On the morning of August 19, the Department of Science and Technology held a training conference to guide local organizations, businesses, cooperatives, and trademark owners across the city on registering, managing, and commercializing intellectual property rights for trademarks, collective marks, and certification marks

On the afternoon of August 18, the Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization of Hue City Party Committee organized a digital literacy training course for officials and civil servants working at Party Committee advisory and support agencies in 2026.

The railway line connecting Hue to Da Nang via the Hai Van Pass spans approximately 100 kilometers and is considered one of the most beautiful railway routes in the country.
