On the morning of December 27, the Department of Tourism organized a conference to promote rural tourism in Hue City.

“Promoting the value of Hue’s local specialties through experiential tourism” was the theme of a specialized workshop organized by Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support over 2 days, December 13 and 14.

On December 11, the Department of Tourism organized a program to survey wellness tourism products in the city to orient their exploitation, promotion, and development in the coming time.

Recently, the Center for Tourism Information and Promotion under Hue City Department of Tourism, in collaboration with 4LLIN Co., Ltd. and Aeon Mall Hue, organized a conference to introduce the “Cultural and Artistic Experiential Tourism in Hue City” project. According to Director of Hue City Department of Tourism – Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Tram, this is a new tourism project, with plans to be held regularly at Aeon Mall Hue.

In the journey to brand itself as “Hue - a heritage city, a green, attractive, and high - end destination” on the global tourism map, Hue is boosting its promotional efforts, particularly by spreading the beauty of its landscapes, culture, and people through international media channels.

Alongside promotional activities in several European countries, Hue City’s tourism sector has teamed up with Da Nang to present Central Vietnam tourism in general and that of Hue in particular to the tourism markets of Malaysia and Indonesia. These are considered traditional and promising sources of tourists for Hue.

On the afternoon of July 25, the Information Center for Tourism Promotion, Hue City Department of Tourism collaborated with 4LLIN Co., Ltd. and AEON MALL Hue Shopping Center organized a conference to introduce the tourism product “Cultural and Artistic Experience Tourism in Hue City.”

In addition to other potential markets, the tourism sector of the ancient capital is intensifying efforts in promotion, branding, and positioning Hue in European countries. Through a variety of unique programs and activities, Hue’s tourism industry hopes to see strong growth in visitor numbers from this key market in the near future.

According to the information released by the Department of Tourism on the afternoon of February 27, the promotional video for the National Tourism Year – Hue 2025 with the theme “Hue - Ancient Capital - New Opportunities” has just been launched on the Fanpage of Hue City People’s Committee.

Thua Thien Hue, along with Da Nang and Quang Nam, are strengthening cooperation to boost tourism between Vietnam and Australia, particularly by connecting the Australian tourist market with Central Vietnam. By enhancing promotion and advertising of the “Amazing Central Vietnam Heritage” tourism brand in Australia, the goal is to attract visitors from this significant potential market to Central Vietnam in general, and to Hue in particular.
