In parallel with the Festival, Hue has become one of the focal points for attracting, gathering, and spreading cultural values, serving as an environment and opportunity to revive and illuminate Hue’s cultural heritage.

On the morning of February 10, Hue City People’s Committee held a ceremony to praise and award national excellent students of the 2024 - 2025 academic year at Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted.

A great number of tourists and locals flocked into the Huyen Tran Temple Festival held on At Ty new year’s days. This was an event held by the Department of Culture and Sports, opening on the morning of the lunar January 9th (February 6) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center, located at the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain (An Tay Ward, Thuan Hoa District).

Hue is developing every day, yet it never loses its peaceful rhythm. Amidst the hustle and bustle of life, many visitors set aside their worries and come to Hue to immerse themselves in the serenity and purity of nature.

On the morning of February 3 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), Thu Le village wrestling festival, in Sia Town, Quang Dien District, jubilantly opened. This is a traditional beauty of residents in the lagoon area of Quang Dien District every time Tet (the Lunar New Year) comes and the Spring comes.

On the first day of the Lunar New Year of the Snake, heritage sites in Hue opened their doors for free, welcoming thousands of visitors to experience the festive atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday.

Ancient chrysanthemums, a symbol frequently found in heritage structures, clothing, and jewelry of the Nguyen Dynasty, have left their traces but seem to have disappeared from Hue. Meanwhile, the appreciation for these flowers continues as a quiet passion among some "scholars of Ha Thanh".

It may seem easy to dream of a day when Gia Hoi “revives,” not only preserving its essence and cultural heritage values, but also seizing the opportunity for this ancient quarter to develop. The preservation of heritage values in this ancient quarter located east of the Hue Citadel, however, is facing many challenges and conflicts.

Along with regular cultural activities, Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center has collaborated with a number of units and organizations to implement meaningful cultural programs, including seminars and workshops related to the preservation and promotion of Buddhist cultural heritage.

On the afternoon of January 18, at the space of 23-25 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa Ward, 40 children and their parents had a chance to join in an activity of experiencing cooking tet cakes to celebrate Tet holiday. This program was held by the Hue Book and Culture Club.
