As Hue City advances its development as a centrally governed heritage city, the need to fully identify and recognize the city's cultural, historical, landscape, and human values has become increasingly urgent.

On the afternoon of July 23, the Department of Industry and Trade held a conference to discuss measures to boost export growth in 2026 and achieve the city’s export target, contributing to the implementation of the city’s goal of recording GRDP of over 10%.

Over 3 weeks since the campaign was launched, up to now, nearly 580,000 residents across Hue have received regular health check-ups, accounting for 45.4% of the city’s population. Through international cooperation and connections with researchers and cultural organizations, Hue is working to bring these archival resources home to support the restoration, conservation, and reconstruction of its heritage.

On June 19, 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister signed Decision No. 1096/QD-TTg approving a project of developing Hue University of Medicine & Pharmacy Hospital to meet the standards of leading hospitals in Southeast Asia and heading towards the goal of reaching international standards.

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), Hue City Women’s Union held a flower- and incense-offering ceremony on July 20 at the Memorial Stele to the women heroes of the 11 Girls of the Huong River Squad, and also visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and the former female soldiers.
