On the afternoon of April 10th, Hue Tourism College (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), in coordination with Cholimex Food Joint Stock Company, organized the 7th season of the “Searching for Hue Culinary Ambassadors” contest under the theme of “Preserving and Promoting the Essence of Hue Cuisine”.

On the morning of March 31st, Hue Tourism College, in coordination with the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council (USAPEEC), organized a seminar and the competition “Cooking with U.S. Chicken - Season 3”.

The Phui (“Freestyle”) Hue Gala (Phui Hue Awards) 2025 took place on the afternoon of March 28th at Hue Industrial College. The event was jointly organized by Twin Media and Co Do Media to honor outstanding individuals and teams who contributed to the vibrant development of grassroots football in Hue City over the past year.

From March 25 to 27, the Ministry of Education and Training holds the national selection exams for high school students to join Vietnam’s teams for the 2026 international and regional Olympiads.

The teams of doctors and medical staff at local health stations play the role of “gatekeepers” of the healthcare system, helping to reduce the burden on higher-level hospitals and bringing healthcare services closer to the residents.

On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day, on the morning of February 27, Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, visited and congratulated the leaders, staff, and medical teams at several medical facilities in the area.

The humanitarian “zero-cost surgery” programs at hospitals have supported many children from disadvantaged backgrounds. It is a deeply humane journey, made possible by teams of doctors and medical staff together with compassionate volunteers across the country, all sharing the hope of bringing joy and happiness to these children.

On the morning of January 21, Hue Central Hospital announced that on January 6, 2026, the hospital marked a significant milestone in Vietnamese medicine. For the first time, surgeons successfully performed a simultaneous surgery to remove two giant polycystic kidneys and perform a kidney transplant. This success not only opens up new hope for patients with end-stage renal failure, but also confirms the ability to master intensive organ transplantation techniques by Vietnamese medical teams.

The 10th National Sports Games are scheduled for November 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and Dong Thap. Hue sports teams are expected to compete in 16 disciplines, including football, swimming and diving, archery, badminton, chess, Chinese chess, sepak takraw, shuttlecock kicking, and athletics.

On the afternoon of December 22, at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, the Department of Education and Training held a departure ceremony for the teams competing in the national excellent student competition in the academic year 2025 - 2026.
