According to the Center for Investment, Trade and Business Support, Hue City People’s Committee has approved the investment policy for a project to plant large-timber forests combined with growing medicinal herbs under the forest canopy in Binh Dien Commune.

On July 5, the Hue Entrepreneurs Club in Ho Chi Minh City opened the third Charity Tennis and Pickleball Tournament 2026, themed “Joining hands to support the poor, and poor and studious students”, competing for the Hue Entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City Cup.

On June 24th, Vinh Xuan Border Guard Station, in coordination with Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Vinh Commune, organized the 2026 “Accompanying Fishermen in Going Offshore and Remaining at Sea to Safeguard National Maritime and Island Sovereignty” program.

As part of Hue International Music Week 2026, the stage along the Perfume River once again left a lasting impression on Hue residents and visitors on the evening of June 17th. The program was supported by the French Embassy and the French Institute in Vietnam.

On the morning of June 8, the Department of Education and Training held a training conference on examination administration procedures for the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination for school administrators and teachers serving as heads and deputy heads of the examination centers, and secretaries from 37 examination venues across the city.

On June 4, a delegation from Hue City, led by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, had a conference to meet with Chinese tourism businesses and investors in Beijing, China. The delegation also had the participation of representatives from Hue City Department of Tourism and Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade, and Enterprise Support.

More than 142 visually impaired women have received vocational training, and over 68,000 gift packages have been distributed; these were among the notable achievements highlighted at the conference reviewing 10 years of implementing the coordinated support program for visually impaired women (2016 - 2026 period), and the five-year review of the Compassionate Homes program, held on the morning of June 2 at the City Association of the Blind.

In the depth of Hue culture, gardens are not merely green zones, acting as supporting elements for architecture, but a constituent factor shaping the urban identity. Hue is famous for the Perfume River, Mount Ngu, the Citadel, royal tombs, pagodas, and noble residences, but Hue is also well known for its gardens. In Hue, gardens soften architecture, calm the everyday life, deepen poetry, and create a unique urban style: a garden city, a city of poetry, the harmony between man and nature, or “an urban poem” as said by M’Bow, former Director-General of UNESCO.

A consultation workshop on finalizing policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) was jointly organized on May 18th by the Agency for Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development under the Ministry of Finance and the International Labor Organization.
