On the afternoon of November 5, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Phan Thien Dinh, together with Member of the Standing Committee and Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City Nguyen Thi Ai Van, received support from the Hue Fellow Countrymen Association in Ho Chi Minh City to help Hue City overcome the impacts of recent floods.

On the afternoon of November 4th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, together with the Standing Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, received a donation of 1 billion VND from Cotana Group to support post-flood recovery efforts. ​

Over the past few days, people from villages across Dan Dien Commune have been encouraging one another to visit the floating fish farms along the Bo River to buy fish in support of local farmers. Some families bought a few fish, others only one, but everyone said the same thing: “It’s just our way of sharing a little of their hardship”. That’s all they could do, as the recent floods had wiped out tens of tons of fish raised by families living along the Bo River.

On the afternoon of November 1st, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Hue City Party Committee; Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee; and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, received flood relief support from Khanh Hoa Province, led by Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

On the morning of October 31st, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, together with leaders of local departments and agencies, received 1 billion VND in aid from Carlsberg Vietnam to help local residents recover from the recent flood damage.

In response to the severe damage caused by prolonged flooding from October 27 to 30, 2025, which deeply inundated many areas and seriously affected the lives of thousands of workers in Hue City, numerous businesses across the area have promptly implemented support measures to help employees stabilize their lives as soon as possible.

On October 31, Hue City Police announced that they had received and distributed 30 tons of relief goods supported by the Ministry of Public Security for the flood-affected people.

On the afternoon of October 30, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Chi Tai, together with Standing Committee member and Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City Nguyen Thi Ai Van, received donations from agencies, units, businesses, and organizations to support the city’s recovery efforts following recent floods.

On October 30, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, visited and encouraged people at a charity kitchen located at Truong An Primary School, Thuan Hoa Ward.

According to the Department of Dike Management and Natural Disaster Prevention (the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), on the morning of October 30, nearly 30 tons of emergency relief supplies from the Government of Russia were delivered by special aircraft to Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi).
