From May 18 to 20, at the City Stadium, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, organized the Athletics Championship for general education students in the city in 2026. The event took place on the occasion of the 136th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), contributing to promoting physical training movements, improving health, and enhancing the quality of comprehensive education for students across the city.

The 3rd HTA Group Cup Football Tournament – 2026 kicked off on the afternoon of May 7 at Green City Stadium (My Thuong Ward, Hue City). The 5th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2026, with the message “Books - Knowledge - Aspiration for National Development”, organized by Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, officially opened on the morning of April 21st at Hue City Library (29A Le Quy Don Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).

On the morning of April 19, Hue University held the opening ceremony for the 6th Sports Festival 2026.

Following the proposal of Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, signed a decision to designate 18 sites across the city as city-level historical and cultural relics. Hue City People’s Committee announced the information on April 17th.
