A professional training course for swimming and diving instructors in Hue City is being held from June 16th to 20th at the Sports Center swimming pool. The course is jointly organized by the Department of Culture and Sports and Hue Help.

A professional training course for swimming and diving lifeguards in 2025, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, is taking place from May 15 to 19 at the city's Sports Center (the swimming pool at 2 Le Quy Don Street). A large number of trainees from the sports and education sectors, as well as water sports businesses in the city, are participating.

On the afternoon of January 6, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) reported that they had performed a rigid esophagoscopy to remove a sharp-pointed piece of pig bone for a 26 year-old man. This complicated emergency case required the quick, precise, and skillful intervention of the medical team.

On December 5 and 6, at the Provincial Continuing Education Center, the Provincial Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, organized a training session on teaching safe swimming skills and preventing drowning in students.
