Recently, luxury travelers and the ultra-rich have shown increased interest in Vietnam as a travel destination; and, Thua Thien Hue is among the locations catching their attention. Beyond its natural beauty, high-quality services are a top priority to attract these affluent tourists.

In the bright picture of Vietnam’s tourism which has made a strong recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, Hue tourism shows positive signs in terms of strong growth in the number of international visitors and expanding the market of international tourists.

On September 12th, at the Provincial Center for Culture and Art, the Department of Science and Technology (S&T) inaugurated an exhibition showcasing technological devices, science and technology products, innovations, and creative startup (CS) products, as well as key products from the North Central and Central Coastal regions.

At 3 a.m., when the peanut grinding machine started to operate, the “pressers” also showed up one after another. There are those carrying firewood, those lighting fires, and those whittling bamboo. These people are preparing for a full day of work, making cans of peanut oil - a local specialty.

That is the sharing of Tung Leo – the Show Director of the music night themed “Dialogue with Trinh Cong Son - Love Found”, which took place in the space of Kien Trung Palace, during the recent Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024. He added: “I am indebted to and enamored of Hue City. I hope that I can come back here many times to organize different music nights in various locations in Hue.”

On June 22nd, an impressive assembly of over 150 artifacts, curated from the esteemed collections of 29 antique collectors spanning the North, Central, and South regions of Vietnam, will be showcased at the “Antiques Gathering” exhibition held in the historic Kien Trung Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel.

On the afternoon of May 12th, at 3/2 Park, the Hue Brass Band held a music show to commemorate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024).

Participating in the International Art Festival Week Hue 2024, the Zhejiang Wu Opera Research Center of China will stage and perform some outstanding excerpts showcasing the charm and quintessence of Zhejiang Opera and traditional Chinese opera.
