On the afternoon of October 28th, Hue Tourism College, in collaboration with Cholimex Foods, held the fifth season of the “Search for Hue Culinary Ambassadors” competition, themed “Hue cuisine - Convergence of essence,” for the year 2024.

During 2 days, from September 18 to 19, about 70 travel businesses and travel associations nationwide came to Hue to participate in the Hue famtrip program titled “Ancient Capital – New Experiences season 3” to visit, survey, and assess the tours and tourism destinations in Hue.

On the evening of September 8th, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Vietnam Travel Magazine and other partners, organized the “Experiencing Traditional Hue Mid-Autumn Festival”program. This event is part of a series of activities taking place in the four seasons of Hue Festival 2024, aiming at responding to the autumn festival - “Hue in Autumn” of the Hue Festival 2024.

The finale of the 24th season of "Road to Mount Olympia" will take place on the morning of October 13th. The live broadcast location in Thua Thien Hue will be organized at Ngo Mon Square.

Vietnam is preparing to enter the peak season for international tourists. Based on the strong growth rate of the tourism industry in the early months of 2024, the provincial tourism sector is implementing many solutions to prepare for the anticipated influx of foreign visitors.

On the evening of June 7, in the historically, culturally, and architecturally significant space of Kien Trung Palace, Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 officially commenced. Hue has begun a vibrant, colorful, and musical festival season welcoming visitor from all over the world.

On the evening of April 19, at Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street (Hue City), the Provincial Department of Tourism organized the "Hue - Welcome Summer 2024" event. This event is part of the series of activities within Hue Festival 2024, with the aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome an attractive summer tourism season, as well as creating a media effect to attract visitors to Thua Thien Hue Province.

Since 2022, the Hue Festival has been developed with a four-season orientation through a series of continuous events and festivals throughout the year, making the most of unique cultural - geographical - historical factors from royal festivals, folk festivals, religious festivals, etc.

The boat racing festival took place on the morning of December 31 on the Như Y River (at the community tourism site of Thanh Toan Tiled-roof Bridge). This is one of the highlights of the New Year 2024 celebrations and in response to the Four Seasons Festival organized by Thuy Thanh commune (Huong Thuy town).

As a part of a series of activities and events of the Winter Festival within the Four Season Festival - Hue Festival 2023, on the evening of December 15th, the Department of Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the “Wellness Tourism Week” event. Attending the opening ceremony was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
