The event was held to inspire, connect, and awake the desire for change in each individual

With the theme “Ignite the Spark Within”, the event contributed to inspiring, connecting, and awaking the desire for changing in each individual.

The program brought together 5 speakers from various fields, including science, art, and education. However, they all shared a common story and thread about a journey of overcoming prejudice, pursuing passion, and making positive impact on the community.

Kicking off the series of talks, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy, an expert in climate change and disaster risk management delivered a presentation titled “Popular Science on Climate”, emphasizing the keywork “responsibility”. He called the younger generation on being proactive in the face of natural challenges and encouraged them to pursue less popular fields of study that offer long-term and sustainable values.

Drawing from her experiences, she inspired belief in the inner strength hidden within each individual, empowering people to overcome their own barriers and limitations.

One of the most moving highlights of the program came from Hoang Hoai Phuong, the top scorer in history at the 2024-2025 National High School Excellent Student Exam. In her talk titled “A Passion for History Becomes a Legacy for the Future”, Phuong delivered a message: “Don’t let anyone tell you that your passion is useless. Keep the flame of your passion alive, because what you love could become a great value for the further generations”.

This is the third season of TEDxLe Loi program. More than just an inspiring event, TEDxLe Loi Street also serves as a nurturing ground for ideas, encouraging young people to dream big, starting from the smallest things.

In the spirit of TED, an international nonprofit media organization that brings together scientists, experts, and inspirational figures to share diverse knowledge in life with the aim of creating positive change in society, TEDx programs offer communities, organizations, and individuals the opportunity to experience a form of events like TED but at the local level.
