During their visits to educational institutions on the morning of November 20th in celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, city leaders acknowledged the contributions of the units to the city’s education and training efforts; at the same time, hoped that schools will continue to promote their roles, innovate, improve teaching quality, and make positive contributions to Hue’s development in the new period.

On the afternoon of November 15, the Department of Education and Training (DOET) held an online training session on developing digital competence (DC) for high school students, in accordance with Circular 02/2025/TT-BGDDT and other directives guiding the implementation of the Ministry of Education and Training’s Digital Competence Framework. ​

After more than a month of launching, the preliminary round of 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest received over 19.700 entries from 132 primary, secondary, and high schools across Hue City.

Out of a love for cultural heritage, Vo Tran Minh Thu, a 12th-grade student at Hai Ba Trung High School, has turned her passion for research into modern technological applications to bring heritage closer to the community, especially the younger generation.

On the morning of October 26, the live broadcast site of the final round of the “Road to Mount Olympia” 2025 took place vibrantly at the Song Huong Theater, Hue City. This event is not only a festival of knowledge, but also a journey that passes on the torch of inspiration among students of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

On October 21 in Hue City, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE) organized a workshop titled “Guidelines and Implementation Roadmap for the ASEAN Eco-School Criteria – Towards Plastic-Free Schools” as part of the ASEAN Eco-School Awards Vietnam 2025. The event attracted over 100 in-person delegates and more than 1,000 virtual participants.

On the morning of October 19, Hue Hieu Hoc Education Fund held a scholarship award ceremony for students from Duong No Ward and various high schools across Hue City.
