On January 26, Hue City Police reported that they had received a handbag found by a resident and assisted in returning it to a foreign tourist.

On the morning of January 18th, Hue Poetry Association organized a program to review the Association’s activities in 2025 and to launch the poetry collection “Returning to the Land of Huong Ngu”. This was an opportunity to reflect on the previous year's events while also presenting to the public a brand-new poetry anthology, the product of the Association's numerous lively creative and poetic exchange activities.

Thirteen years after Hue first hosted the National Tourism Year, the event returned to the city for the second time in 2025, opening a gateway to new opportunities. From this series of events, beyond the growth figures, the city has gained valuable experience and a new surge of energy known as the “Aspiration for transformation”.

As 2025 draws to a close, the Song2Light Creative Market officially returned for Season 3 under the title “Huederland”, taking place from December 26-28 at Song Centre Hue. The event brought a range of unique and engaging experiences.

Taking advantage of favorable weather, these days, farmers across the city are simultaneously returning to their fields to restore and tend their vegetable plots, ensuring supply for the market during the upcoming Lunar New Year.

In the middle of the rice fields of Dien Hoa (now Dien Chau Commune, Nghe An Province) stands a small memorial site. There, the final wish of a father - the poet and musician Nguyen Trong Tao, who spent many years with Hue - has been fulfilled.

Mega Booming - Hue 2025 is set to return on a larger scale, featuring a star-studded lineup of artists and aiming to captivate the young generation and music enthusiasts. This artistic showcase will be part of the closing ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025.

After many years of sustaining their lives through regular blood transfusions, many pediatric patients suffering from congenital hemolytic anemia (Thalassemia) have now found the “light at the end of the tunnel” thanks to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Hue Central Hospital. From these successful transplant cases, a door of hope has opened, bringing the children a healthy, normal life and complete joy after so many difficult days.

After the success of the first season, the rock show organized by Hue Capital Rock in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University is returning with its second season.

Visitors can hike up to the mountaintop to fully enjoy the fairy-tale landscape with the green hues of the forests and the yellow of the wild sunflowers against the red basalt soil.
