In the National Excellent Student Examination for the 2025-2026 academic year, Hue City won four First Prizes. Notably, Geography recorded its first-ever First Prize winner, while French returned to the highest podium position after many years, earning two First Prizes. These results reflect the sustained efforts of students from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, further enriching Hue’s distinguished educational record.

On February 9, the Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to honor and reward students who achieved outstanding results in the National Excellent Student Examination for the 2025-2026 academic year at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

Building on the results achieved in 2025, Hue City has set a growth target of over 10% per year for the 2026 - 2030 period. By 2030, the city strives to reach a growth rate of 11.5 - 12%, and a budget revenue of 28,000 - 30,000 billion VND.

On the afternoon of January 23, immediately following the closing session of the 14th National Congress of Delegates of the Communist Party of Vietnam, an international press conference was held at the Congress Press Center to announce the results of the 14th Party Congress. On the afternoon of January 15, the City’s Sports Training and Competition Center held a review and commendation ceremony honoring coaches and athletes who were awarded prestigious State titles and achieved outstanding results at the 33rd SEA Games.

This was the directive of the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, at the conference reviewing the 2025 work results and deploying tasks for 2026 of Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC), held on the afternoon of January 9th. ​

On the afternoon of December 31st, at the headquarters of State Treasury Region XIII, the finance - tax - treasury - customs sector inter-agency held a conference to close the state budget fiscal year 2025.

In addition to health insurance coverage, social insurance and voluntary insurance also achieved encouraging results, bringing the total revenue from these three types of insurance to exceed the set targets.
