Many renowned dishes representing various regions have been recognized as National Intangible Cultural Heritage, such as Quảng noodles of Quang Nam province and the craft of making phở of Nam Dinh province. In light of this information, diners are asking where bún bò Hue (beef noodle soup) stands on the culinary map and why it has not been recognized yet.

On October 11, representatives of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts’s leaders informed that after their meeting, the Art Collection Appraisal Council of the museum reached a consensus to suggest the Provincial People’s Committee to collect 4 artworks in 2024.

To prepare for the upcoming final round of the Provincial Innovation Startup Competition 2024, on September 30, the Department of Science and Technology held a training session for representatives of 15 ideas and projects competing in the final round of this competition.

From July 20 to 26, at Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-cum-convention centre (IECC) in New Delhi, India, a delegation of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, led by Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, attended the programs within the framework of the session, according to the invitation from the Director of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee and Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO. The delegation was accompanied by representatives from departments and branches.

In the third quarter round of the 24th “Road to Mount Olympia” (with Vietnamese title being “Duong len dinh Olympia”), which was broadcasted on the afternoon of July 7, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a representative from Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, excellently won the first prize.

On June 14th, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, was awarded the Certification of European standard neonatal resuscitation training center by representatives of the European Resuscitation Council and Newborns Vietnam organization.

The artists were impressed by the affection and warm welcome from the audience, people, and visitors while representing their nations to perform and exchange culture at Hue Festival 2024 week.
