Among the series of projects that have been broken ground, commenced, and completed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the City's Liberation Day (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025), and the 95th anniversary of the founding of Hue City Party Committee (April 1930 - April 2025), perhaps the technical opening ceremony of the project of Nguyen Hoang Street and the bridge over the Huong River on March 26 is the most anticipated event by Hue people.

The organizing committee of the Cultural Reading Ambassador Contest 2025 announced on March 19th that the preliminary round will accept submissions from now until June 15th.

“Reading - experiencing in Hue cultural space” is an interesting activity organized by Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School in collaboration with Hue Book and Culture Club, on the morning of January 11 at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street.

That is the topic of a workshop held on the afternoon of December 7 at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street (Hue City), featuring a talk by Nguyen Chi Ngan, a lecturer from the Division of Anthropology, Archaeology, and Tourism Culture, Faculty of History, University of Sciences, Hue University. The event was organized by Hue Books and Culture Club.

Launched in April, the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest attracted 16.358 entries from 120 primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools in the provincial area.

On October 25, a representative from Thua Thien Hue General Library announced that the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, has concluded and awarded prizes. Thua Thien Hue has won 3 prizes this year.

“I have written about everything from the rustic to the elegant aspects of Hue with all my heart, so that readers, once they have loved Hue, will love Hue even more,” shared Ms. Hoang Thi Tho, a journalist, about her two upcoming books, “Remember to visit Hue tomorrow” and “Please go from childhood.”
