In 2024, numerous key projects in Thua Thien Hue province are expected to be completed and operational, promising to generate new momentum for development within the province. These projects not only contribute to driving the local economy and society but also create employment opportunities for workers.

On the afternoon of March 17, at 3/2 Park, Thua Thien Hue Music Association coordinated with the Vietnam Musicians Association’s branch in Thua Thien Hue province to organize a free music night themed "Remembering Trinh Cong Son".

The Union of Science and Technology Associations of Thua Thien Hue Province has just launched a book titled “The Imperial Medicine Institute (Thai Y Vien) of the Nguyen Dynasty: History and development prospects”, which is a 440-page book published by Hue University Publishing House.

Collaboration plays a crucial role in promoting tourism development. In 2024, as the leader of the tourism development partnership among five localities in Central Vietnam, Thua Thien Hue province will propose and implement various solutions to enhance the effectiveness of collaboration, promote tourism, and contribute to the development of the smoke-free industry.

Economic and industrial zones in the province are key areas for attracting investment. However, in order to capture the attention of significant investors, it is necessary to create an open environment with many solutions to support businesses. Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism, said that on the evening of January 26, within the framework of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF), there was an award ceremony for the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Awards, taking place in Vientiane, Laos. The three cities representing Vietnam have been awarded (which will be effected from 2024 to 2026) namely: Hue (Thua Thien Hue Province), Vung Tau (Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province), and Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh Province).
