After 8 periods of organization, Hue Traditional Craft Festival has become a brand name with many programs and activities on an increasingly large and professional scale. However, maintaining activities after the festival is what businesses and establishments in the area expect so as to bring craft village products closer to tourists.

On the afternoon of April 4, the People’s Committee of Hue City said that the program “Gratitude to the Huong River” in the framework of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 would take place from 5:00 to 21:30 on May 1, 2023 on the Huong River area through Hue City.

The program offered the public various songs by the musician Trinh Cong Son that has tugged at the public’s heartstrings, such as: Hue - Saigon - Hanoi, Quynh Huong, Dau chan dia dang, Mua hong, etc.

Towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam – Japan diplomatic relations (September 21, 1973 – September 21, 2023), on the morning of March 30, the Vietnam – Japan Friendship Association in Thua Thien Hue collaborated with Thua Thien Hue College of Education organized an exchanging program called “IKEBANA art of flower arrangement”.

According to Hue Festival Center, the Summer Festival of Hue Festival 2023, themed "The Citadel shines", is due to take place from April to June.

This was the topic of an Entrepreneur Cafe program, which was organized by the Provincial Business Association in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment on the morning of March 25. Following the success of 8 Hue Traditional Craft Festivals from 2005 to present, and implementing the Four Seasons Festival Project, Hue City People's Committee continues to organize Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 with many rich and meaningful programs and activities, contributing to stimulating tourism demand and socio-economic development.

In 2023, from five to eight publications will be published for Hue Bookcase; and from seven to ten publications will be proposed to the publishing plan for Hue Bookcase in 2024. This information was announced on March 23 by the Provincial People's Committee, relating to the plan of "Establishing and developing Hue Bookcase" in 2023.

On the afternoon of March 6 at Hue Industrial College, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Vietnam Association for Vocational Education and Training and Social Work, together with universities and colleges held the debate competition on Green Traffic – Round for the Central Region.

On February 25, Mrs. Tran Duc Minh, Chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs Association said that the Young Entrepreneurs Association would coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment, and the Department of Tourism to carry out the program of sharing and connecting businesses with Vietnamese TikTok Creators who are in love with Hue specialties.
