On the morning of June 19th, Hue City Police Department officially launched the Community Education Center for Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Operations (FPF&R).

In line with the policy of expanding foreign relations and international cooperation in the People’s Public Security Force, as well as the 2026 cooperation plan between Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior, from June 16 to 20, 2026, a delegation from Hue City Police, led by Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Director of Hue City Police, had a official visit to Siem Reap Provincial Police in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

On the morning of June 9th, the City Youth and Children's Center, in coordination with the City Youth Union and Young Pioneers Council, the City Labor Federation, the Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Division, and the Youth and Women's Boards of the City Police, launched a drowning prevention skills training program and free swimming lessons for children in 2026.

On the evening of June 5th, the Organizing Committee of the 2026 People's Public Security Military, Martial Arts and Sports Festival - Region II held a public exchange and parade program for residents and visitors along major streets in Hue City.

On June 4, the Organizing Committee of the People’s Public Security Military, Martial Arts and Sports Games 2026 - Region II announced that public interaction activities would be held along several central city streets following the preliminary rehearsal and final rehearsal on the evenings of June 4 and June 5.

From April 6th to 10th, a delegation from the Police Department of Hue City, led by Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Director of the municipal Police, paid visits, extended New Year greetings, and held working sessions with police forces in Lao provinces of Salavan, Champasak, Savannakhet, and Sekong (Lao PDR).

From April 1 - 3, a delegation from the Command of Hue City Border Guard, led by Colonel Dang Ngoc Hieu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the City Border Guard, visited and extended traditional Bunpimay New Year greetings to the Military Commands and Police Departments of Sekong and Salavan provinces (Lao People's Democratic Republic).

On April 1st, the Traffic Police Division of Hue City Police reported that it had promptly received information, verified the case, and assisted two foreign tourists in recovering their misplaced property, ensuring a quick, safe, and regulation-compliant process. ​

On the morning of March 24, the Hue City Police officially opened the 9th “For National Security” Sports Festival 2026.

On February 22, Hue City Police reported that they had promptly returned a lost handbag containing important documents and valuable property to a foreign tourist at Phu Bai International Airport.
