On January 26, Hue City Police reported that they had received a handbag found by a resident and assisted in returning it to a foreign tourist.

From free English classes in mountainous areas to pink bricks used to build houses for poor households, the youth of Hue City Police are spreading a beautiful way of life through practical and humane actions, contributing to accompanying and uplifting disadvantaged circumstances.

On January 6, Mr. Nguyen Anh, Chairman of Long Quang Commune People’s Committee, said that the commune police, in coordination with Nam Dong Area Forest Protection Unit, had received a rare impressed tortoise voluntarily handed over by a local resident.

On December 23, at Hue City Police, Emulation Group No. 2 of the Ministry of Public Security held the opening ceremony for a Sports Festival celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Staff Force Traditional Day (April 18, 1946 - April 18, 2026).

On October 31, Hue City Police announced that they had received and distributed 30 tons of relief goods supported by the Ministry of Public Security for the flood-affected people.

Mr. Van Dinh Huy, who was born in 1983, is currently working at Phu Bai Ward Police office. Even younger than Dinh Huy, Mr. Do Minh Dien, who was born in 1990, is currently an officer in the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City. On September 19th, the Immigration Management Division of Hue City Police, in coordination with Kim Long Ward Police, returned a passport and belongings accidentally lost during a sightseeing trip to tourist Klimov Pavel (born 1973, Russian nationality).

On September 2nd, the Economic Security Division of Hue City Police reported that it had returned a lost mobile phone to Ms. Mii Uchino (born in 1999, Japanese nationality, a student at University of Tsukuba currently attending a seminar at Hue University).

On August 14, Hue City Police announced that the program in response to the campaign “Moving forward with Vietnam” will be held in Hue City on August 16.

On August 13, Hue City Police announced that they had welcomed a delegation from the police forces of Laos’ provinces of Salavan, Sekong, Champasak, and Savannakhet, at the invitation of Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Director of Hue City Police.
