The center has been established at two locations. The main facility is situated at the headquarters of the Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Division of Hue City Police (52 Hung Vuong Street, Thuan Hoa Ward). This site has been renovated and equipped with eight functional areas, including a conference hall, exhibition room, display area for firefighting and rescue vehicles and equipment, models of automatic fire detection and suppression systems, a model of a fire-safe neighborhood group and public firefighting point, as well as areas utilizing virtual reality and artificial intelligence technologies for public education and awareness programs.
The second facility is located at the headquarters of Firefighting and Rescue Team No. 2 (27 Nguyen Van Linh Street, Huong An Ward). It features a variety of hands-on training models and experiential activities, including precision water-spraying exercises, confined-space training, a smoke house, and a training tower. These facilities enable participants to engage directly in firefighting and rescue training and skill-development activities.

Once fully operational, the center will be open free of charge every Saturday and Sunday. Visitors will receive information about relevant laws and regulations and learn about the work of the Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Force. They will also have the opportunity to participate in practical exercises, including the use of fire extinguishers, deployment of fire hoses, evacuation in smoke-filled environments, high-angle escape techniques, first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Immediately after the launch ceremony, a large number of students from across the city visited and participated in the center’s activities. Through educational programs, guided demonstrations, and practical training sessions, the center aims to raise public awareness and equip citizens with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to fires, explosions, accidents, and emergencies. These efforts will help individuals protect themselves and their families while also enabling them to assist their communities during emergencies.
