The procession of Uncle’s Ho portrait photo and lotus flowers was held solemnly on the morning of May 17 at Duong No Village (Phu Duong Commune, Hue City) – the place associated with his childhood.

Through the photo exhibition themed “Trinh Cong Son - Meeting you again for the first time”, people with great affection for the late talented musician can meet him again in his every day and simple moments.

Not claiming himself as a photographer, Mr. Tran Thien (born in 1984) devotes all his passion and heart to “hunt” the picturesque and unique photos of birds. To catch these ecstatic moments, sometimes he has to “disguise” himself as a bird, stork, and hide himself for hours, even for days.

With an aim to add more documents, photos and valuable resources of books to Tang Tho Lau (Archive Pavilion), Hue Monuments Conservation Center launched a ceremony to donate and receive documents and books, etc., with the theme “The Imprint of Tang Tho Lau in Our Mind”.

After the photo exhibition “Trinh Cong Son - Meeting you again for first time” at Lan Vien Co Tich – the Huong River Museum of Antique Pottery (at 120 Nguyen Phuc Nguyen Street, Hue City) finished on March 14, it continues to be displayed at the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Hue city (23-25 Le Loi street).

On the morning of March 12, the Alliance of Arts and Literature Association of Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Thua Thien Hue and Thua Thien Hue Photography Association to hold a ceremony of offering flowers and incense to commemorate the celebrity Dang Huy Tru, the ancestor of Vietnam’s photography at the ancestral house of worship of the Dang Family (Thanh Luong village, Huong Xuan ward, Huong Tra town).

For a very first time, Duong Minh Long, the photographer, will introduce to the viewer 35 photos of Trinh Cong Son through an exhibition “Trinh Cong Son – Meeting you again for the First time” held in Ho Chi Minh city and Hue.

In Spring time, many young people mingle with the vibe and colors of the Spring and are eager to have beautiful photos taken. This is the time that photographers are sated with working and earning money.

"This (digitizing photos) helps the descendants not have to spend time imagining how their ancestors looked like," explained Trung. He said that digitizing photos could be roughly like photoshopping the photos after capturing them. The only difference is that users have to buy separated software and pay annually.

From the morning of the first day of Tet, a lot of people and tourists have come to Thuy Xuan incense village (Thuy Xuan ward, Hue city), wearing antique clothes to shoot and save memorable photos.
