Recent culinary events and festivals in Hue have emerged as popular gathering points, drawing crowds of visitors from near and far. However, what truly retains them is not merely the flavors or the festive atmosphere, but the live performances and the narratives behind each dish, offering tourists deeper insights into the history, culture, and people of Hue.

On August 29, the Meeting Vietnam Association held a ceremony at Hue Imperial Citadel to award Vallet Scholarships to students with outstanding academic performance.

After more than three weeks, the training program on Hue-Singing (Ca Hue) performance skills for more than 180 music teachers from primary schools across Hue City, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, concluded on the afternoon of July 31.

On the afternoon of July 30, Hue Business Association convened the 10th Executive Committee meeting of its fourth tenure (2022–2027) to review its performance during the first half of the year and set key priorities for the remaining months of 2026.

The 12th International Day of Yoga and the 2nd Hue City Open Yoga Championship 2026 officially opened on July 26th as part of the 4th Hue Sports Festival 2026. The events were jointly organized by Linh Kha Yoga Club and the Embassy of India in Hanoi.

In response to Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, on the morning of July 10, the Department of Education and Training organized a mass performance program themed “The Beauty of Ao Dai in Schools” at Phan Dang Luu High School.

More than 160 music teachers from primary schools across Hue City are participating in a training program jointly organized by Hue City Department of Culture and Sports and Hue City Department of Education and Training, which officially opened on the morning of July 8th.

On the evening of July 8th, at Hue City Center for Culture and Cinema, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Hue City People's Committee, held the closing ceremony of the 2026 Three-Region Folk Instrumental Music and Folk Singing Festival. During the ceremony, the organizing committee presented numerous awards to outstanding artistic ensembles, individuals, performances, and programs.

On the evening of July 7, Hue Museum of Fine Arts officially opened the performance and exhibition program titled “The Knowledge of Tailoring and Wearing Hue Ao Dai” at Diem Phung Thi Art Center (No.17 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa Ward).
